Individual Planning
Aged Care
Our advice for aged care planning is two-fold: We provide aged care financial solutions for your ageing parents and relatives; and we assist you to prepare your own aged care plan.
Australia’s aged care system is complex and our advice includes helping you to understand the paperwork and often confusing jargon. We provide guidance to help you understand your options and facilitate the process for accessing aged care services without compromising your overall financial objectives.
We will also draw your attention to important documentation that you may need to implement or update – your will, health care directive and appointing an Enduring Power of Attorney for managing your health, wellbeing and financial decisions, when you are no longer able to. On your behalf, we will coordinate with your solicitor, accountant and other professionals to implement an aged care financial plan that’s suitable for your individual needs.
Importantly, we encourage you to begin planning for aged care while you, or your ageing relatives have capacity for reasoning and decision making for their own best interests, as will provide comfort and clarity for all involved.
